Fresh inventory by place

County pages stay in place while inventory changes. City pages appear when a participating organization has a fresh public listing there. Every count below comes from the current source record.

Official source areas

Start with the county people actually search for

Each page combines fresh animals, the participating organization, a source-check time, and the county's direct adoption path. A zero count stays visible instead of making the location disappear.

Why county and city pages behave differently

A county page represents a durable official source and keeps a useful zero-inventory state. A city page reflects the exact facility location in fresh records, so it leaves the directory when no qualifying listing remains. Individual animals still require verification within 72 hours, a public photo, and an adoption or source link.
