What life with Dainty may feel like
RASKC's current listing notes: This sweet little Dainty girl has been through a lot recently, including femoral head ostectomy surgery and a period of poor nutrition, so shell need a patient home committed to helping her heal and gain strength. Despite everything, she remains gentle and tenderhearted, with a worried little expression. She loves her ball and will push it back to you with her nose, she makes cute snorty noises and has an adorable submissive side lip curl when she smiles. She loves to be cozy and warm and appreciates a sweater or jacket when on outings. Her foster calls her Doony and he has been dedicated to her care but would love to see her start a bond with her new owner. On walks, shes calm (but strong for 33lbs) and nonreactive to other dogs, and her greatest comfort is simply being close to her person. Once shes fully healed, ongoing activity will be necessary to help rebuild muscle in her hip from the surgery. With the right care, love, and a quiet space to recover, shes sure to blossom into the loyal companion shes already showing she wants to be.
